2,87,204 cars were sold in the month of December 2023. Sales dropped by 14.2% if compared to the last month of November 2023. In this year, first time car sales almost touches the figure of 3 Lakh.

Maruti Suzuki sales decreased by 6.5% in December 2023 and the market share also dropped by 4%.
Tata motors overtakes Hyundai and gets the second spot. Sales dropped by 6% compared to last month.
Hyundai car sales dropped by 13.6% compared to last month and increased by 10% compared to last year December 2022.
Mahindra sales also dropped by 12% compared to last month and sales increased by 24.1% from the previous year’s same month.
Toyota regain the position of under top 5 with the 21,372 of sales in Dec’23. Compared to last month of Nov’23 sales increased by 26.3% and if compared to last year Dec’22 sales increased by 105%.
