Triumph has been rocking the market since the 400 Twins came out in the Indian Market. The Speed 400, and the Scrambler 400 X were the perfect product from a successful collaboration between Bajaj and Triumph. When these 400cc bikes launched some time back, it was speculated that more models would join the 400cc class. With that being the case, a new cafe racer was spied on testing overseas recently.

According to the pictures taken of the test model, the motorcycle looks almost production ready. Now, the body of the bike was heavily taken after Triumph’s well-known Thruxton 1200. The front headlamp of the test mule was round, similar to the Triumph Speed 400’s round LED but enveloped within a cafe racer-style front fairing. It shows authentic cafe racer DNA with lowered clip-on style handlebars. The riding position of the bike is quite engaging and more aggressive when compared to the Speed 400 and Scrambler 400X. This is the main difference that Triumph’s 400 cc cafe racer bears. The tail section, exhaust, fuel tank, alloy wheels, and engine casing are similar to Speed 400.

A new cafe racer from Triumph, rocking the OG Thruxton looks is nothing less than a sweet dream for motorcycle enthusiasts. As for the heart of this motorcycle, the 399cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine that powers the Speed 400 and the Scrambler 400 X. will probably power it This engine churns out a peak power of 39.5 bhp at 8,000 rpm along with 37.5Nm of maximum torque at 6,500rpm.
